Kindergarten enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year will be held Thursday, May 1 and Friday, May 2, 2014.
In order to register, children must be 5 years old before or on September 1. Parents must also provide proof of their child’s age, residence, and required immunizations.
Registration will be held at the child’s attendance area school. Attendance area schools and other information including an explanation of kindergarten schedules, breakfast and lunch menus, district transportation and more can be found at k12northstar.org/kindergarten.

The Parent/Guardian and Community Input Form for Teacher Evaluation is available at the following locations:

Science Fair Workshop 2/7/14
Calling all students interested in creating a science fair project or need a little extra help on your project!!!!!!
We are so happy to announce a workshop for our little scientists.
February 7th from 5-8pm in the Nordale gym there will various scientists form different fields available for consults, mini seminars on how to set up a demo board, a workroom for putting together boards.
Also each student participant will be given a Tri-Board and Art Supplies to help with their project!
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn the ins and outs of projects.
There will be a taco feed from 5pm to 6:30pm in the commons, each meal is 3.00 or 20.00 for families up to 7.
Science Fair 2014
It's that time of year again to create that exciting science fair project! Nordale Office has books of ideas to use and the internet is full of ideas when you Google Science Fair Project.
Students may pick up a packet with information and permission slip at the office.
The drop off time for projects is Wed Feb 26th by 8:45am.
Judging: Thursday Feb 27th during the day.
Parent Viewing: Thursday 5:30-6:30pm
Student Viewing: Friday Feb 28th during the school day
Projects must be picked up by 3pm Friday February 28
Tigger reading will end it's 2nd session on February 14, 2014.
Tigger reading is an out of school reading program with rewards for the hours of reading time that students do. Each session (3 total) offer a different "reward. One session complete offers a root beer float party, 2 sessions offers a taco party, and 3 sessions is a picnic at Pioneer Park in May. We encourage students from k-6 to participate in this excellant program.
Nordale Robotics Team Competition
Nordale Robotics Team which is comprised of 5th and 6th grade students and several advisors. They will participate in team competition at Barnette School on Feb 1st, 2014 from 8am to 5pm.
Aluminum Can Drive
Nordale School has been collecting Aluminum Cans for several years and will continue this program through the help of our students, families, and staff. We have a collection bin in the back of school. The proceeds of this project go directly to classrooms for activites and field trips.
